Chris had a heart for nursing, a love of golf, and a passion for always doing for "the least of these" to express her faith in Christ. She maintained steadfast in living out these qualities even through her final days as she fought a tough battle with cancer.
To honor her life and commitment to these things, an endowed scholarship has been started at Monroe Community College to benefit nursing students in need of additional financial support for things not traditionally covered by financial aid such as books, childcare, equipment, or testing fees.
We are looking for sponsors, golfers, and champions to spread the word about this unique opportunity to change the lives of nursing students in need at Monroe Community College and celebrate the life of Christine Smith.

A total of 20 of these hole sponsor signs will be split between two holes on the course. Each sponsor will have a sign with an image or wording of their choice. Recognition of these sponsors will also be included in the dinner program and on the website.

A total of 10 of these hole sponsor signs are available and will be individually placed as a sole sponsor of one hole on the course. Each sponsor will have a sign with an image or wording of their choice, will be recognized in the program flier, included in the dinner program and acknowledged on the website.

A total of 6 of these hole sponsor signs are available and will be placed on an individual hole of the sponsor's choice (first come first serve). This hole sponsorship provides a sign with an image or words indicating your sponsorship of the hole. This sponsorship includes two complimentary tickets for the program dinner as well as recognition in the gift bag materials, dinner program, website, and program flier.

We are currently accepting donations for items to include for the silent auction as well as the raffle. New items, gift certificates, experiences, and excursions all make great items to donate. All proceeds will directly benefit recipients of the Christine J. Smith Memorial Scholarship for MCC Nursing Students!
